Hi all, went to plug in an adaptor into my ciggie socket, and it's seemingly not working any more.
Tried a different adaptor too, still no joy, and my actual ciggie lighter doesn't work either.
Are there any simple things i can check before ringing up my dealer and taking it in ?
Anyone any ideas of the cost of getting something like that fixed ?
Thanks,
Azza

It's probably just the fuse, my son stuck a screwdriver in mine!!!
Have a look through yer fuses properly first

Don't suppose anyone can point me in the right direction as to which fuse...or i guess i can find that info out from the manual..?

Others here may disagree, but I fitted a 20A fuse instead, the wiring should cope ok with this.
I was running a mains inverter, and they seem to pop a few fuses under load etc... - fitted 20A - No problems :)
Just wait for the smell of burning etc.... :(

Yeah it was on, well, the engine wasn't running, but all the key was turned to whatever position it's known as when the dash-lights come on..

Check out the actuall cigar lighter itself as there is sometimes a fuse behind it.Hope you get it working.
Ben.
