Myself and Dave the interior trimmer have a wee head start today on my wheels....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v458/fraz13/HPIM2681.jpg
Took off the worst one to see how it would turn out....
So out came the Dremmel, wet n dry, primer paint and laquer...
I had repaired the scuffs as best I could by the time he turned up then he got to work with the spray cans....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v458/fraz13/HPIM2682.jpg
And the finished result, if I do say myself is so much better than I expected...

So we did two today and get the other side done tomorrow :D
I know some wont like it but the wheels were badly scuffed and they needed repainted,
Now I've done it once If I feel like a change (not lime green) it only cost £30 and 5 hours work to paint them again lol

I like, Fraz... I really like.
I was thinking about getting a 2nd hand set ot T5 alloys, spraying them jet black to match my paint work just to see how it would look.
Really like the shine that's coming off of yours in that piccy above.

whens the next meet :mischievo
I started to organise 1 in August to Skye but its all went quiet (which is good coz I doubt I could make it at the moment) but it might pick up again....
Fraz, when you say take a dremel to them, what was the dremel used for and which bits did you use in it?
I only used the wee sand paper bit, its like a barrel shape..... only to flatten the edges, The kerbing wasnt that bad so it coped and only wet n dry'e the face.....
Would you be up for helping me get them done, would really change car
Sure man no probs
Dac the paint I used was Vauxhall Anthrecite metalic, means that its readily availible for those arguments with pavements lol Daves car (pic above) is done in a jet black and looks stunning
Thanx Mark ;)
Cheers Astro..... See above for the colour and have a look in the discount section at Rochford Tyres for the wheels ;)

Its taken me 5 hours today to do my other 2 wheels basically coz the Dremmel broke so I had to rub out all the kerb marks by hand with a course sand paper.... I would recommend anyone to do it themselfs as its easy as me.....
I got the paint from my local accessory shop, £3 per tin and 1 tin per wheel... Vauxhall would charge £10 per tin at least....

Hi mate, that colour is spot on!! You don't happen to have the paint code do you? My local paint supplier needs it before they can mix the paint!
