Engine Hoist

Hi Folks

I am in desparate need of an engine hoist! I need my ride and need a hoist to put the new lump in. Is there anyone around brum who can loan me a hoist for a couple of Hrs? I will pay a charge or do anything (within reason) to have one.

Please help if you can

Tried the hire shops? HSS etc? They will have one.
I believe a volvo nerd will cost extra though :)

Sounds daft I know but I use a modified childrens swing-frame (widened and strenghened across the top) and one of those cheap pulley and nylon rope hoists, lifts just about anything !

U nutters! I manged to get one and the lump is now seated firmly in the bay. i'll be fitting all the rest by the ned o the week, will let you all know how i get on.
