Hi,

As you know I got a S40 2005 T5, I wanna know if I can put Racing Oil in our cars, like Royal Purple, I used to refill my cars with that Oil, it´s a very good oil, it´s a plus in performance....

But I don´t know, if we just can refill the T5 with Agency Oil, or Volvo oil, I don´t know...

I preciate your answers....

Greetings :B_steerin

Personally I would not use a racing oil, they are generally too thin and designed to be driven hard for shorter periods have time, they often do not have the detergant packs that are needed for larger milages and longevity of a normal car engine.

I would suggest a good quality full synthetic 0-40w or 5-40w oil.
My dad uses Halfrauds 5-40w fully synth, I use Shell Helix Fully Synth.

I would take a look at the engine oil bible for a start :-http://www.carbibles.com/engineoil_bible.html

Check out the web site and see what suits your needs and climate. Mine has Redline but there are other good oils, mentioned this one as you are so close to the supplier lol. :)
