I'm sure i saw somewhere on this forum information that a 850 strut brace will fit a C70 but is a lot cheaper (from a dealer). Is this really the case?

They are all the same (unless you have a left hooker). Ring VT they have them on the shelf. Same price as everywhere else.

I don't see how they'll be any much cheaper than Volvo's own brand one for around £60ish...

They rip you off on there, go to Marshall's (search the forum) and get it cheaper.

genuin ovlov one for the rhd
not sure what marshalls price comes out at
but its about the same as i paid at bells for mine

To answer the original question..... Yes if you go and ask for a strut brace for a C/V/S70 it will cost around £130...... If you ask for one for a 850 it will cost around £70...... The part is exactly the same, dont know why theres a difference but there is....... Deffo get an 850 brace if buying from the dealer.....

Mine was about £15 cheaper than the one on eBay when you add postage costs to it.
