I just, andi say just, had a Porsche 944 Turbo off the lights. His nose was on the back of my rear wheel when we hit about 70. Either way ill chalk it down as Volvo 1 point!

How you know it was a turbo?

Good point, but in pretty sure as it had all the detailing and i'm usually insanely good at stuff like that Plus would a standard 944 get that dose anyway? It was a very nice one in dead good nick. Just looked them up and it quotes 250 bhp , but they're RWD and lighter.

It's quite possible as the 944 Turbo originally had 220bhp and a 0-60 time of around 6.1, the later 944 Turbo S however had 250 bhp and this reduced the 0-60 time to around 5.7.

Obviously the driver aspect will come into play so it's quite feasible.

I guess he was just not a great diver, or not expecting to have a big Volvo get so close. Either way im chuffed!

I don't know how they relate to the 968, but I can out drag one of those.... Second Santa pod meet I ran a few times against the car and apart from a bad start on one run I beat it every time....

Hi guys your all forgeting one thing you are driving modified cars.

I had a 1992 944 s2 240BHP a few years ago, that would eat T5s for breakfast 0.60 in 5.5 seconds, 149mph, ( had a race with a friend) a standard T5 would have been left behind, also the turbo version has a 2.5litre engine and a differant power band.

I have chased one of this when i had my S2 and he left me for dead. normally they are very quick cars.
