Parking Light On The Dash?

During a short trip to the shops earlier i noticed that my parking/handbrake light was on, so i immediately checked the handbrake and it was completely off and in the correct position?
Any ideas?

Is there not a switch under the handbrake? Looks like the old door courtesy light switch.

i will check,mine is a p2 so im not sure

Probably been replaced with a computer and a black box like every other thing

Might be break pad low warning or like old Vauxhalls check your brake fluid ;)
