hi all
I m about to try change the pads both front and rear and after the mess of today starting to wonder if im better off letting a garage do it :( 1st of all the locking wheel nut sheared off :( then finally with some help and a fiver a garage manged to remove the old lock stud :)
So firstly do i only need to remove the pins and slide the brakes pads out on this type of caliper? and not the whole unit? and on refitting the new pads do i need to put copper grease on the back of the pad or do the shims on there not need it?
Thanks for any help :)
Jay
