Just had two Dunlops fitted to the front of my C70 T5 by www.eventmobiletyres.com they came to my work and fitted both tyres in less than 10 minutes. Cheaper than any tyre stockist i rang in Cambridge as well.

good tyres, the only problem i had with tyres in the past couple of years were on my old 04 2.4 Type S accord which had Michie's which were softer than whippy ice cream and £180 a tyre and a life span of 4,000 miles (no wheel spinning) was costly... Stuck Yoko's on it in the end, much better.
Not planning on any more tyres yet as i'm planning on some 18"'s so get some with them.

I found the Michellins as well to be very soft, when i have worn my SP9000's out i have some Goodyear Eagle F1's to go on,

Yeah, Michie's had amazing grip but just didn't have a decent life to them. I had the Pilot Sports and lasted the same as what my old Fireblade rear tyre did.

just got some new pirelli pzero's for £60 a corner! would have gone for F1 GSD3's if i was paying retail price but for what they cost, i couldn't resist the pirellis :)

I got a puncture in one of the Pirelli P6000's last week. It would have been repairable but my wife drove it home flat and shagged the sidewall.
The local tyre shop asked £120 fitted and would have to order the tyre anyway and I'd have to take it back some other day.
Etyres (www.etyres.co.uk) wanted just £100 fitted and came round the next day and changed it while I was at work. Well recommended.

I am weary about Pirelli's after two seperate blow outs on a race spec Mk2 mexico i had. Yoko's...YUCK! I had them on RS500 rims on my XR4I some years back. Fantastic in the dry but a little damp and the arse was everywhere but behind the front! I hit a slight puddle one day at 30mph and aquaplaned into a ditch. As i was sliding i thought "damn i'll need a respray..."THUMP" i didnt see that tree stump which pushed the gearbox into the back seat! The Yoko's where A008R road/race (but road legal) jobs. Put me off of them since.

My personal pick of the bunch would be the vredestein Ultracs - fabulous all-rounders and good longevity. 225/45/R17 were 90 all in per corner.

Second that on Vredesteins, I have got Sportrac2's on standard T5 16" rims and they have hardly worn after 5000 miles. Great in the dry, good traction in the wet, what more can you want for £80 a corner from Watling Tyres in Dartford. (take 48 hours to get in though)
