I know its not volvo related ut looking for some info.Son has a 94 BMW 325 which has a xl10 clifford alarm/immob fitted,everything was fine until the cars battery went flat,battery now charged,car turns over but it is as if the immobiliser is on and it will not fire.Any ideas would be brilliant.Cheers

im gessing you tried arming the car after battery was connected,
then dissarming it to try & start it,
other option is turn ignition on then push remote button which arms/disarms the alarm,i think its got a picture of a padlock on the button,
normally that does the trick,
alternative is disconnect battery again,turn ignition on while battery is disconnected then leave drivers door open then reconnect battery,
it shouldnt power up as armed,
then remove keys & close all doors & bonnet,
arm the system then leave 4 a few seconds then dissarm it then try to start the car,im guessing it has a valet code for overiding the system which you can use as a failsafe if all else fails,
i hope that helps,,i think the alarm is just confused wen it was disconnected 1st time round.
