I must be missing something really stupid

my fan has packed up think its the resistor

however after 20 mins of sodding about :cussing:
I cant seem to get the glivebox stays to release
the haynes manual saya gwntly prise ith a small screwdriver
but doesnt say where or how etc wtc
no interioror have never given me a problem b4 but this has me foxed
need to get the glovebox interior out to get to the resistor
any help greatly appreciated

Insert the small headed screwdriver into the tiny slots where the plastic arms connect to the glovebox cover. Mine needed a little 'thrutching' with the screwdriver before the arms released from the cover.

Once released, the glovebox cover will hang down & the glovebox interior/surround can be removed as the plastic arms will pass through it.

Remember......a good 'thrutch' is key!!

Ah yes, in the lid where stays enter via the slots, there is a square cutout towards the middle of the lid. You need a pretty strong screw driver to insert down the square cutout in order to press back a moulded locking tab in the plastic of the stay. Can be very frustrating to release :splat:
