T5-R gearbox can it be split?

I ask this question because afew gearbox specialists have told me that it is a sealed unit.I just think they can't be arsed to do the job (worn diff).

Your about right there mate as i had my 850R gearbox split and a few parts replaced out of another gearbox,if you need a certain part i'm sure that the place i had mine done at has a few spares out of my old one kicking about.

MikeyHi Mikey i've been in contact with a company in liverpool who will do the job for £525 plus the price of a new clutch which isn't to bad.
