Does anybody have an idea of prices of resprays for an s70 t5? just fancy a change of colour in the near future(currently police white)lol! I have seen a lovely coloured alfa, its like a pearlescent eggshell colour, and i reckon it would look sexy on my t5!
cheers! Don!

If it's any help:-
A top half respray (same colour - black) will cost me £350-£400 from my local friendly body shop.

Think of a figure and double it......

Full resprays(inside and out) are expensive as they take a lot of time due to having to remore trim etc, also the pearlecent paint you mentioned is expensive too. Looking at around £50 a litre for the base coat and around £15 a litre for the clear coat, you'll need at least 5 litres of each so er do the math........

Soz mate but I think you'd be looking at around 2-3 grand for a full colour change...

These are just guesses based on personall experiance, so try and get a few quotes first mate.

Yeah I've dealt with them alot. As a word of caution though, don't take your car in for any work, they do servicing and repairs but they will rip you off if given the chance( I think I was).

Parts are cheap from them I got a new alarm relay for mine for only £50.

Oh as an after thought, I'm thinking of repraying my car( if I keep it). As I have all the equipment to do it, but I don't have enough space to do it in. If I can either borrow or rent a big enough garage then mine will be getting a colour change too, makes it a lot cheaper if your doing it yourself...

they are are fitting a thermostat on wednesday for me, 20 quid, i used to go to trevor burgess at hyde, but was completely arrogant, and had four attempts at fitting a return pipe oil seal, so its gotta be better than that!lol!
i would love a respray but, im gettin the rica, turbo upgrade, exhaust, downpipe and brakes first! then wheels after, so i will have to see what my budget allows!

There is a Independent specialist in Bryn, supposed to be really good. I priced up a full service for mine recently and they quoted me only £100. They have ex dealer mechanics working there. I will be taking mine there from now on.
