Hello everyone,I have a problem with my manifold on my 850 (2.5 10v saloon),it has a blow & looks to be a very small hole/crack,when cold it blows a bit until its warmed up & then it seems to be quieter,I need to get this done but looks a pig of a job to do,Has anyone done one & how hard is it to do as there seems to be a bit of work to do b4 you even get to the bloody thing,Also once off & if it can't be repaired does anyone know how much a new one is (not cheap I bet) & do they do a sports manifold as on other cars I've had its cheaper to have a sports manifold than buy a new standard one.
Cheers '850South'

I had one replaced, Is it the bit with the flexi coupling in it (on the downpipe)
If so then it is about £300 ish...(from Volvo ouch) tried to source one at a breakers but no chance....There is a Volvo specialist in Tottenham that will do it for about £200 fitted though..../cant remember the name....

The only "sports" options I'm aware of are things like the Pipearts equal-length tubular manifolds, which are in the $800+ USD range (they're made in Sweden, http://www.pipe-arts.com/850.html). You can probably slap the S60R manifold on as well -- check out the forums at Swededemon.com. Sadly, OE is probably your cheapest option.
