Still got sunroof trouble!

I am still getting no where fast with the sunroof on the 854R!
I have now changed the switch, control module- but the problem is still there!
The electric sunroof will tilt, but will not retract ,as it should. It starts to go back but stops, as if the sunroof is stuck.
I was told in this forum, that 99% of the time is the control module.
Any idea's????

Not experienced with Volvo sunrooves in particular but last time I had a sunroof problem I removed the glass and checked the chain/cable. If the roof still doesnt work properly you can see any physical reasons why better.
It sounds like the electrics are ok if it starts to move.
How far back will it go?

Is it on cables..? I should really have a look at mine properly.. the cables will be like a bicycle brake cable, this may have stripped causing the roof to retract so far but then get stuck..... just an idea..

If you want to pay for my welding to get rid of my sunroof hole you can have my old sunroof, which works perfectly...

FOLKES now sorted. It turns out to be the plastic trim that runs down the drivers side of the sunroof had come mis placed. now works properly. So if anyone wants a sunroof control module- I have got one!:cussing:
