Hello to you all.

In the beginning of next month I´m visiting our dear Mr tomcat.
I´ve now boked the tickets going back from Newcastle to Göteborg.
The ferry leaves Newcastle monday the 3 july at 14:30.

I´m traveling from Eskilstuna to Malmö on the 27th of june, and then driving through Denmark, Germany, Holland and then going with the ferry over to England. Then I´ll say hello to my father/aunt/granny in Bexhill before I hed on up to Lancasheire (Spelling) to visit tomcat and buying the modified R-bumper.

I´ll be taking the ferry that leaves Hoek Von Holland on the 30´th of june. And I´ll be arriving around 20:00 in the evening at Harwich harbour. Really nice if someone is free and would like to show me how it is to drive on the left side of the road, instead of the right side...

I´ll in Wigan late saturday evening.
I would really like to meet up with as many of you guys and girls as possible. Sunday the 2´nd would be a great day to meet up...
Maby a BBQ or something similar.

I will not be able to arrange something, beccause I dont know my way around the area... Hopefully Sweden and England will play 1-1 or 0-0 in the World championship in football, so that no one of us hate eachother...:Handshake

Well, I´m looking forward to seeing people writing in this thread.

Best regards// Peter Larsson (Sweden)

When this football is over, we will be getting rid of the Swedish waste of space called Sven. I am sure he is the ONLY Swede that is totally useless, therefore, YOU, will be most welcome in our country regardless of the result from the football.

Are you docking at Harwich? If so, we would be more than happy to arrange a little East Anglian welcome for you.

There's a small race track not that far away, the Three sisters. its more of a cart track but they do host club rallying(think excorts etc) quite often. They also have a nice lake you can park next too/near, all depends whats on that weekend really. I'll try and find out.

Hello Matt.

Yes I´ll take the ferry between Hook von Holland and Harwich.
I´ll go by Stena Line on the morning of July the 1:st.
The boat will leave Holland at about 07:30
And the trip will take around three hours, maby a little bit more.
Would be really nice to meet some of you southern guys when I get to Harwitch. From there I´ll head on down to Bexhill/Hastings to visit my family.
Then I´ll go all the way up to the Manchester area, where tomcat lives.

I do need to buy some maps of GB when I get there as well :)

Sad to say, I´ll not be able to go with my T5... I´ll use my grandads old merch, it´s a -93 230E with two shades of silver.
You might be able to recognise me beccause of my swedish plates...
I´ll also upload a pic of myself, that way you will be able to know what to look out for.

Best regards // Peter Larsson
Here is my handy number as well.

What´s DHL ???:saythat:

I do know what DHL is...
I think of it as a mini-holliday... I´ll visit my father, aunt and granny they live in Bexhill and I think my aunt and here family has moved to Brighton...
Mr Tomcat, do you know of any good hotel or B&B´s not far from where you are living? I´ll be going home from Newcastle at 14:30 in the afternoon on monday. How long will it take to drive from the Manchester area over to Newcastle?
As I said earlier, I´ll buy a map over England when I get to Harwich...
As I have seen on my previous visits to your beautiful country, your roads tends to be rather small (Not the highways)

It should take between 2.5 to 3hrs at a steady 80-90. I used to go from Liverpool to the top of Newcastle in 3hrs, but the A1 and A19 are much better now :D Take care on the A19 though, as there were lots of speed camera's last time I was up there.

Bon Voyage :B_thumb:

Hello Abdul.

Some parts are cheaper than in the UK.
But I think that wheels are more expensive in Sweden then in England...
I do have a set of 18" rims without tires for sale. They are 7" wide and should be nice with a set of 215-225*40*18 tires.
I will make sure you get a pic of them.

Otherwise I do have a Volvo V70 hood for sale, one set of 5,25" speakers with tweeters and filters (Brand new from MDS)
One 12" woofer with an enclosed box. Also new.

I think that Volvo parts are cheaper in Sweden then in England.
I did check the new rearlights for the Volvo 855/V70.
The price in Sweden is ~£310

And the Crystal-clear front lights for Volvo 850 is ~£200
And this price includes the turninglights.

Well well, hi again boys and girls.

Also, I´ll update with a new info...

I´ll be going with a Volvo, not a merc...:B_steerin
I´m traveling with a -94 Volvo 855 the color is green.

Looking forward to meeting as many of you guys and girls of VPCUK on my trip as possible.
I´ll arrive at Harwich on friday the 30´th of june. At 20:00 in the evening.
The boat leaves Hoek von Holland at 14:30 in the day.

I´ll be reached at phonenumber 0046 (0)70 583 51 81

Here is a picture of me... Not the best one, but you might see a bit of me :)

You look like David Duchovney.

If Pegasus wheels are cheaper over there you could probably bring a containerload over and shift them :D

I wouldn´t mind having Tea Leoni by my side :)
But I´m bigger then Mr Duchovney...

Well a set of 19"X8" pegasus here in Sweden is around £495 (4 pieces)
That´s without the tyres...

And a set of 18"X8" are around £470 (4 pieces)
These are also without...

This is not from the Volvo dealer, but from a store here in Eskilstuna who are experts on Volvo aftermarket parts.

Oh crap!
They are £585 per wheel at Volvo here. I was looking at getting some in from the states but the shipping and VAT/customs duties make it too expensive.
I dont suppose this shop has a website.
We could putsome business their way :)

I understand that it will be just to much to get them from the states.
I don´t think that freight will be cheap from Sweden either, but it will cheaper.
Of course this shop doesn´t have a website... :(
But I do have another website where they do have the same prices...
The website is the following
http://www.gummihuset.se
There you will be able to find most wheels fitting Volvo and other car-makes as well.
Bare in mind that these rims are duplicates, but very well built.
Two of my friends drive on the 19" ones, they have never hade any problems. Now during their second summer with the wheels.

I´ll also do an update on the first page with my new traveling info.

Hi again Matt.

I´ve got an update regarding my ferry-trip from Holland to Harwich.
I´ll be docking in Harwich on friday the 30´th of june at 8:00 (20:00)
in the evening.
I´ve bought a ticket, and the ticket says that the ferry leaves Hoek Van Holland at 14:30 and arrives in Harwitch at 20:00 in the evening.
I´ll be traveling with Stena-Line.

So everyone who lives in and around Harwich (East Anglia) you are all very welcome. Hopefully we can arrange some kind of mini-meet, or just chat some.

PS. Personaly I think that you can keep Mr Sven Göran Eriksson. But that´s just me :)

Thanks mate. That´s just to nice. More then I could have hoped for.
Really looking forward to seeing you all, guys and girls.
As I´ve said earlier, I´m going with a green Volvo 855 with swedish plates (Of course)

And just to make sure that nothing is missed.
My ferry leaves Holland at 14:30 on friday. And arrives in Harwich at 20:00 on friday. Traveling with Stena-Line ferries...

This new info is beccause I´ll save 50 quids just by going on friday instead of going on saturday as I had planed earlier...
Thought that I could spend those 50 on parts instead :)
