Number 23 IIRC is a clip that bolts to the side of the head near the n/s rear corner, under the dissy cap It is there to hold breather and BCS pipework in place

Blue pipe goes to the under side of the air intake tube, just behind the MAF sensor. It is where the BCS dumps unwanted air back into the system.

Where does no. 8 go? Sorry no. 5 just looked again. I am just curious as well as I will be checking all hoses at the weekend to see if there any leaks, so I hear there is a vacuum knuckle that is very difficult to change, and wondered where that is?

Here's the PCV breather system.

Babybadger, if you look at the bottom of the picture, where the large black swooping arrow points to the area of the power steering pump/res, looking between the PAS pump and the end of the manifold is where you'll see #14 gets connected to. A large vacuum take-off on the end of the manifold. Good luck if you try it with the manifold in-place.

Iggy, thanks for that, when I have the N/S Lower Control arm done I will get the PCV cleaned out and all vacuum hoses checked for splits. Any parts I will need? Part no.s etc? Mine is a 1995 T5 (non OBD11).

Are these diagrams somewhere on the net or are they from VADIS?
