Wotcha kids.
Wanted to pick the brains of anyone with any knowledge on auto boxes. My S60 Geartronic has started occasionally shifting gear badly.
More specifically, it is when changing up from 2nd to 3rd (never any other shift), the box seems to sometimes 'miss' getting into 3rd gear. This can result with the shift being anywhere from a bit rough to almost dangerous; the box shifts into 'neutral' for up to a second, spinning the engine away until finally dumping it into 3rd. Perfect for safe overtaking :B_thumb:
It appears to make no difference how fast I am going or how many beans I have on tap, it could happen at any time and at and degree of severity. I have started to get a little concerned because it seems to be happening more frequently too.
Any insight would be most appreciated before I go making Mr Visa more affluent.
