Whils't fiddling with the engine the other day(swapping the cam belt), I removed the MAF sensor lead. A little later I had to move the car and started it up to move it, with the lead off it triggered the warning light on the dash. What I want to know is, is there a quick way of getting the light to go off, short of going to the dealers and asking them to do it. I've done this in the past and driving it for a few days put it out by itself, however I would like to put this out asap this time. If I disconnect the battery, how long do I need to leave it off for to clear the code?, will this clear the code??.

I'm ok on that front I have an aftermarket one that doesn't need a code

radio code aint a problem
just ring your local main dealer
if its the original radio they will have it on their data base
and all you have to do is give them the reg number and they can look it up
i did this at the weekend for my spare 850
