Tow Bar wiring diagram

I'm looking for a wiring diagram for a tow bar that i've just fitted to my 854. Basically , what do the colours of wiring in the towbar harness represent ?
Any help would be gratefully accepted !!

First of all check that the actual socket has the correct wiring as splatt has linked. I didnt and had to start it all over again.

You will need 6 scotchlocks for all the lights and an O-ring for the earth.

Pin 1, 2 and 4 need to be connected tailgate side of the bulb failure unit, 5, 6 and 7 need to go engine side of it.

In the lh corner there is a blue box it has hella written on it disconnect the plug and connect your trailer wires for the lh tail rh tail and brake lights into the wires going into this plug reconnect the blue box when finished

first colour is the 7 core cable ad buzzer unit second colour is the car loom ( according to this it wirks for v70/s70 97-98 and 850 sal /est 92 on

orange of buzzer connects to (left flasher) green
blue of trailer wire connects to fog light purple / white
grey of buzzer connects to right flasher blue/green
brown of trailer wire connects to rh tail white
red or trailer wire connects to brake yellow
black of trailer wire connects to lh tail grey
yellow of grey 12s socket connects to (not applic with single electrics) reverse blue
white of trailer and black of buzzer connects to earth car body
no relay required
