Ok here is a question for you all.

Anyone know what these wheels are and more importantly will they fit and 850 with the 302 mm brake conversion......

Rule of thumb is that you need either 16" perfos or 17" anything 108X5 pcd to fit over the 302 conversion. Save the money and buy Ferodo DS2500 pads? Possibly?

Too late I already have the 302 disks and a set of 17" Tethys. i just want a spare set but I already have the tyres.....

I am not sure - best way is to jack it, swap em and spin it - see if it catches. If you've not bought them then I have no idea.

I think the wheels in question are called "Lovejoys" and were optional equipment on a 1977 240 GL.

Sorry, shouldn't mock but Moppy's right!

Will that work? cos if it's jacked up, the suspension has pushed the wheel all the way down away from the body, so it will clear easier?

Agree anyway that "test it" is the easiest way, and LOL at the Lovejoy comment :)

Stick with the Tethys!!!

Its the brakes that might catch, thats the concern, so it will have nothing to do with the suspension.

That was indeed the question, and I am a moron. :)

yes it's the brakes that are the problem as my original colombus wheels no longer fit. I can see by the mocking no one know the answer :troutslap

Looks like I'll have to got and try them out and I know they look ugly but I'll only run them in emergancy's so cost is the bigger factor.

Cheers all.
