Do I have a problem.

Strange question I know, but here is the reason why.

Both my rear tyres are wearing on the inside. On Calibras this was a symptom of lowering the car.

The distance from the wheel center to the bottom of the wheel arches on my car are :-

Front 36 cm
Rear 33cm

I am on the standard 16" wheels for a 850 T5

Any body any ideas?

Thanks

Steve

Sounds like a tracking problem to me. Looks like the toe in / toe out needs setting again to enable the tyres to roll correctly without wearing unevenly.

The rear on T5's generally sit lower so the measurements you give seem correct.

Your very welcome, although don't take that advice as verbatim.

When reading your post 'tracking' sprung to mind. £30 will get all 4 wheels tracked and maybe think about balancing too to improve the ride more so.

Process of elimination will get results ;)
