Turbo noise

Got a whistling noise from the turbo when cold, loudness/pitch is directly corresponing to boost. Anything to worry about?
I try not to use the turbo when cold anyway but sometimes have to!

Thank god for that. Never noticed it before and having just got a bill of £600 for brakes through didnt want to have another one!!

As long as it doesn't burn oil (blue smoke) and it doesn't howl like a wolf when spooling up , you are in the pink mate. When starting up just give it 30seconds to a minute to get the oil pressure up like any car.

To be perfectly in the clear one should drive 7-10 miles before giving it serious boost, and then 2-3 mins as the hayns manual recommends before removing the key if raced.
