Olive has been to Trinny and Suzannah, well in our part of the world they're called Cecil & Larter Volvo. Wife is huffing and puffing at the bill but I think it's ok. What do you think?

110,000 mile service, MOT,20 new wheel studs fitted, wash, vacuum and proper Volvo stamp in the service book. £267.00 inc.

not bad at all that - tho I'm defo doing mine myself, giving the ignition side and the pcv a spruce up whilst I'm at it all for loads less than that! - would appreciate the wash tho as we're under a 'pipe ban :( lol

I know a service can be done cheaper of course but though it is the 110,000 service on paper, it's the 75,000 in miles. Another 25k on the clock and I will jettison the Volvo service history in favour of a cheaper option.

Thats not too serious mate but I still reckon history from a main dealer is worth a lot less on theese cars, they are 10+ now..

As she always is David. All serviced and tight. Lovely new fresh oil caressing her internals. Romped the MOT, just a note for one tyre on the limit and a little play on the O/S/R anti-roll bar link (whatever that is) half hour to do apparently.

Took mine to Harratts Leeds the other day for the 110,000 mile service. Was washed and cleaned and service booked stamped. Total was £105.16 including a couple of bulbs.

Apparently, std price is £99 on the volvo "essentials" service. See here:
http://www.volvocars.co.uk/VolvoOwnership/essentialservice.htm

Probably a bit less of a thorough checkover than yours Matt but I got my service book stamped so I'm :)

and about £44 plus vat to buy one, i believe. not a big job at all, they are like the drop links on the front anti roll bar, but shorter
