Emmissions Prob

Driving home last night. Warning light in dash illuminated, indicating emmissions problem. Now, having tried it this morning, have got same light, plus emmissions system service required message. Also, am noticing a judder at 2000-2500 rpm, and decreased gas milage. Obviously will be treying to arrange getting it fixed, but am curious regarding what may be wrong.. Any ideas? My money is on cat being KO'd or the exhaust having a flow problem.

Take it to your dealer!!! Ask them to fault code read the car and make sure they print all the fault codes for you. Without doing this, you (or anyone else) will not have any idea what the problem is.

you might be lucky and it could be just a O2 sensor, but could be a number of things,
