Hi. Does anyone fancy attending the Leicester RS Owners Club show at Stanford Hall, Lutterworth, Leicester as a visiting car club.

Its on Sunday MAY 15th and the setting is in a stately home & grounds by a river , really lovely, aaaawwwwwwww!

Anyway we have to write to them for a club stand so if we can get at least 8 to go it would be nice i guess. Replies asap please.

oh no not another F*rd meet, we got invited to the RS national at Donny last year, we didn't realise we we're the only non-F*rd cars there (& any smart arse's who say we are now F*rd's get banned :parhmph: )

Disappointing to see your post mr Fandango, i wonder if it's worth the hassle trying to arrange any meet ups at all. Or you could just chose not to attend i suppose.

i didn't mean it like that, it was a good show & good to meet everyone but i wasn't expecting us to be the only one's non-F*rd there

Didn't think it was your style, but neither was i to know who else would be there, or not as the case was. In essence i dont care so much who goes where, just interested in meeting as many new members of VT 5 as i can, just a pity i cant doo the 2nd.

sorry mate ... much as I'd love to go, petrol money is just too tight with everything else that's been arranged.

Hope you have a good day anyway :)

Well seeing as we were supposed to write requsting a club stand and no1 replied confirming , officially u could say this is OFF. However theres plenty of general parking so if the forecasts good i suppose we could park up & meet anyway, it is a good setting, providing u dont mind looking at Fords too.

I think more meets scheduled is a great idea especially for up north and midland people.

Who cares if we are a small group amongst others........we are all car nuts anyway.

P.s. i hate fords but you cant resist the old escorts and cossies though...stuff from our youth.....well most of us. lol

I would have been up for it TDS but am landscaping my garden this weekend and besides that with my fuel bills at the mo im scared to start it up in the drive.

Be back soon though....I would like to see a planned photoshoot though for us lot. anyone a photographer? anyone a weatherman/woman? good scenery and all us lot.

Perhaps even a trip to the volvo museum in Sweden? My bro is off to the Audi museum in Germany in August with the Audi owners club....that would be a blast.

Well its on about 10am till 4pm actually, theres usually a few traders there too, normally a guy there who does silicon hose cheap too, just cuts your sizes to length while u there, as it stands i;m working now anyway so wont be showing. By the way admissions around £3 if anyone goes its J20 M1 Lutterworth area.
