Help!

hi guys
just need a quick diagnostics as my car is acting strange and i cant get it to mechanics til mon....

basically the car was running great and then on cold start the revs were lumpy and the engine sounded gassy and bubbly like a motorbike or lawnmower
then to drive the acceleration was hesitant and bumpy
it cleared up after 5 - 10 mins driving
however this morning my next cold start it was back
i noticed that the problem occurs on very low revs such as picking away or ticking over or on very high revs
but in the mid range it seems fine
also the idle ws hunting
all ive done is check oil and its fine

Have spoken to Dave on MSN on this matter - I hope that the ignition issue can be sorted (thats what I feel about it - mind you it has been some years since I worked on the B230 engine)
