Stereo upgrade

I have just bought a HU 603 to replace the HU 403 in my P2 V70. I have installed it and it works fine except for:-
Steering wheel buttons no longer work
Backlights do not work in stereo

I guess it needs a software update to configure it to work properly. Anyone know any part numbers or approx cost?

part number for the software you will need will be 9488835, not sure exactly how much it will cost, but will be about a tenner for the download approx i would think, but the price for the labour may vary from dealer to dealer, so be nice lol

i would have thought so mate, the car doesnt realise its got a new stereo in it just yet, not until its had the application software, so it wont be working quite right until then

Can someone give me a price please for this software update 9488835.
This is (i believe) the software which will let my P2 V70 know that it has a HU 603 fitted instead of a HU 403 and let the backlights and steering controls work again.
