Where is the outside air temperature sensor on a 855 T5? Today my dash said the outside air temp was 58c (no, I didnt park it in a desert!). I assume after the engine/turbo replacement the sensor wasnt replaced in the correct place & its reading hot under bonnet temps. Also, duz the engine ECU use that reading to calculate the fuel mixture etc? The car wasn't easy to start (unlike usual). After cooling down a bit it was fine. Can anybody advise? Many ta's in advance.

IIRC it should be somewhere underneath the front bumper, sometimes they can fall out of the holder which means it will give a vastly incorrect reading. It will have absolutely nothing to do with the ecu.

Its located just below the air intake for the airbox, just to the right of the horns(looking at the front of the car).
