You can buy it in Halfords ;)
I dont understand the legal implications. AFAIK different counties have different rules on the tint allowed. Up here I have seen quite a few cars, mine included with full tint all round. Mine has had it for 3 years by all accounts.
EDIT: PS When you go back, ask them if they want a new website cos that one is awful. They can mail me martin (at) creatopia.co.uk ;)

I was in Sweden recently, and aside from seeing the majority of vehicles being volvo estates (it was like a dream!), nearly every single one had some form of tinting; seemingly the older the volvo, the darker the rear tints! Fronts were all untinted though, didn't really look right...
Does anyone actually *know* what the law says about tinting? I've heard various %ages over the years, but it seems to vary widly depending who you ask.

35% light through drivers and front passsenger glass which light tint should be okay depending on the factory tint applied to you standard glass
you can paint the rest with hammerite if you like
from what ive been told by a tinting company
buy a precut kit of ebay for £35 notes and diy its quite easy especially if its precut as the hard bit cutting it down to fit the glass in my opinion
