Bloody bargain mate :D Well done :B_thumb: I prefer the manuals, but it looks like its been well cared for, which is the most important thing i'd say.

Well that's just about the longest Link address I've seen for quite a while.

Car looks nice though - I love that colour - affectionately known as Gay Gold I believe - lol.

Stage 0 tune as and when money allow - keep her in tip top condition! I hope you enjoy the auto and dont be afraid to use liberal amounts of Pos 3 on the shifter. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks for your input guys.

It does look like a nice car. I know its a auto, but at that price you have to give some allowances i think.

I am one of a clean freak. So give it a week or so and it will be looking like new.

Also, already of thinking of chipping it. I have started to read a few commments on different makes and companies to use. Budget not a problem. Its just for a little fun.

Will keep you posted. Can't wait to pick it up on sunday.

P.s
Not quite sure if it's the GT. I am hoping so. Just learning about different makes of the car. So didn't know there was a GT brand.

It does look like the GT model. Leccy seats, Dolby System etc etc! Well done. I bet it is cleaner than my new car was :slap: STILL not clean after a week :(

if it is a GT then you've really bagged a bargain there.

Picked car up today. Well happy with it. and it goes quite quick as well, even though its a auto. The sports mode is good.

Just working out all the things in it. Cant seem to get the 3 disc changer to work. It take the discs but nothing. Just a funny noise. Will have to look into it.

Memory seats are good. Just a few little scratchs and things that need doing to it. Give it time.

Thanks and for all the kind comments.

Common fault on the SC901 - 120 quid exchange at any main dealer

That is very odd. On VIDA the price is listed as £120 plus VAT?

Even Stratstone Volvo in Brum will do that for you.

You do know that the CD player will not read burnt ones (CD-RWs)

Well, they certainly don't play CD-RW's, but they will play some CDR's.

They usually play 650mb ones best (which are pretty hard to find these days!)

I recently sold a Prelude 2.2 vtec with tiptronic auto box. I miss the "manual" aspect on the auto box in my C70. Are you saying that by holding it in pos 3 it works like a manual box and then change up when you want to? Affect on ECU or other bits?

Proficient use of the pos 3 on the AT box when driving hard will stop you dropping into 4th on the overrun - thus maintaining good control between the throttle and the wheels, namely you will not drift/freewheel when coming off the power. You can get the same effect as a manual if you are prepared to put in the effort.
