aircon fan staying on

Strange thing happened today to my 52 2.0t se ..I had been runnning with the aircon on and I parked the car switched off removed the key and walked away when returned 10 minutes later the aircon/heater fan was still blowing i could hear it under the bonnet I opened the car put the key in turned the igniton on then off and fan stopped....anybody ever had this happen..?

air con will run on after it is switched off to remove condensation, if you look under car you will sometimes see a puddle of water, i have had my s60 since 2001 and when it 1st happened i took it back to dealers who explained what car was doing!
